Built as a stern trawler under yard No. 113 by Chantier Naval SSNC at Saint Malo for SNC Borgain et Cie managed by S.A. Pecheries Manesset Senechal at Boulogne-Sur-Mer, France.
28 September 1970 laid down
30 December 1970 launched under the name MARMOUSET. Fishnumber BL 341148.
Tonnage 633 gross, 242 net, 406 dwt., dim. 50.73 x 10.32 x 4.8m. Length bpp. 44.9m.
Powered by one Crepelle diesel engine, 1.800 hp., one propeller, speed 14.5 knots.
390 m³ Reefer hold.
Two decks.
24 June 1971 completed.

1980 Sold to SA Pecheries Manesse et Senechal, not renamed.
1987 Sold to Armement la Miquelonnaise, St Pierre et Miquelon, not renamed.
At some time in the early 1995s renamed in MARIE ANDREE I.
Late 1995 sold to Herndon Marine Products Inc., USA, renamed in GULF KING 57.
2001 Sold to Marmouset Trading Corp., Panama and renamed again in MARMOUSET.
2006 Sold to Sea Lion Fishing Inc., Panama and renamed SEA LION.
2015 Owned by Aquatic Marine, South Africa, under Sierra Leone flag with homeport Durban.
What I can find on the net is that she is nowadays used as a counter-piracy vessel in the Somalian and Arabian waters.
When she was converted unclear, her main engine is now given as a B&W diesel engine 950 kW.
Tonnage 803 grt. Accommodation for 21 men.
2017 in service same name and owner. Imo No 7115567.
