A Brazilian Day of the Marine issue 1971, depicts the gunboat Parati(P.13), a coastal gunboat of the Piratini Class. Six of these were built in the Arsenal de Marinhado, Rio de Janeiro. The first entered service in November 1970, and the remainder between March and October 1971. They were the Piratini (P.10); Piraja (P.11); Painpeiro (P.12); Parati (P.13); Penedo (P.14); Poti (P. 15).Displacement, standard is 92 tons, loaded 102 tons. Length is 95 ft., and beam 19 ft. with a draft of 6 ft. Four diesel engines develop 1,100 b.h.p. Guns: Two 50 cal. M.G.s and one 81 mm mortar. Complement, 15 officers and men. As the gunboat's number P.13 can be easily seen on the bows in the stamp design, she is obviously the Parati.SG1340
