This poster stamp shows a famous coxswain,Henry Blogg, G.C., B.E.M., winner of the Institution's gold medal three times and silver medal four times. A lifeboatman for 53 years, he has a record which is unparalleled. He has helped to save 873 lives in the Cromer lifeboats, of which he was coxswain from 1009 to 1947.
