Built as a side trawler under yard No 58 by Soviknes Skips A/S at Syvikgrend, Norway for P/F Skipafelagid Foroyar at Thorshavn, Faroe Islands.
Launched under the name SKUGVUR.
Tonnage 684 gross, 313 net, dim. 52.13 x 9.33 x 4.56m. (draught)
Powered by a 8-cyl B&W diesel engine, 960 bhp., speed 10 knots.
1964 Delivered to owners.
1973 Sold to Atlantic Island Development Corp.. (Tristan Investors), Hamilton, Bermuda, renamed in TRISTANIA II.
She was mostly fishing around Tristan da Cunha and was one of the few vessels who took and delivered the mail to the island.
2005 Owned by Alric Fishing Co., South Africa. Call sign J8WG7, used as a fishing vessel with a crew of 31 men.
Sold by UFE Holdings Ltd., St Vincent & the Grenadines to South Africa breakers. She was delivered in June 2007 to Cape Town breakers
