RUSSIAN FISHING VESSELS

The 6k stamp depict a Russian built Shellfish Cannery Ship of the Andrey Zakharov type of which 14 were built on the yard of Admiralteiski Shipyard at Leningrad for the Russian Government, between 1961-1969.
Tonnage open/closed, 12.675/13.881 gross, 6.275/7.644 net, 7.316/8.210 dwt., dim. 162.16 x 20.02 x 7.0m. (draught).
Two Skoda 8 cyl. by Russki, 4.000 bhp, twin screws, speed 12.5 knots.

On this stamp is depict a medium size trawler of the Majak type, with reefer capacity of which around 130 vessels were built on several Russian yards.
Tonnage 699 gross, 307 dwt, dim. 54.2 x 9.3 x 4.7m., draught 3.8m.
One 800 hp diesel engine. Speed 11.6 knots.

On the last vessel of this set I have not any information, Navicula gives a Black Sea trawler, but not any details.
