FRANCES REPETTO

Built as a wooden hulled yacht by Clare Ship Building Co. Ltd. Meteghan, NS Canada.
Launched under the name CHRISTOPHER AND ERROL
Tonnage 316 gross, 98 net, dim. 133.4 x 26ft.
1944 Completed, her owner unknown.

1947 Converted in a fishing vessel and renamed VOORBOK (A South African name so most probably owned in South Africa.)
1954 Sold to Tristan Investment Ltd., Cape Town and renamed FRANCES REPETTO.
She was fishing in the waters of Tristan da Cunha from 1954 till 1965.

09 July 1971 whilst under tow she began taken water and was abandoned off Robben Island, South Africa thereafter she sank.
