Passenger vessel built 1893 as the GREEK by Harland & Wolff, for Union Line.
4747Gt. 3036nt. L416' B47'2", Dr26'102. Triple exp engines. 3-cyl. 2200ihp. 2 screws 12knts. Steel built, 3 decks, 5 hatches. Space for 5000tn cargo. 624 pass in 3 classes. Maiden voyage May 1893 as Greek for Union lines intermediate service.
Transferred to Union Castle Mail SS Co., March 1900 by merger.
Acquired by Royal Mail Line 1906. On service Southampton-Cuba-Mexico. Renamed SEGURA.
Transferred 1908 to Jenkin's Shire Line. renamed PEMBROKSHIRE. Red funnel black top.
Reverted to Royal Mail line 1913. Renamed CHIGNECTO. Service Canada-West Indies.
Broken up 1927 in Holland.
