NEPTUNE AQUAMARINE

Built as a cargo vessel under yard No. 473 at the Warno Werft at Warnemünde for Rederi Ibis, Norway.
Sold before launching to the Neptune Orient Line at Singapore.
1969 Launched under the name NEPTUNE AQUAMARINE.
Tonnage 5.630/3.175 gross, 2.734/4.698 net, 10.933/12.725 dwt (open/closed shelterdecker). Dim. 495.8 x 65.10 x 29.7ft (draught.)
Powered by an 8cyl. MAN diesel, 11.200 bhp., speed 20 knots.

The NEPTUNE AQUAMARINE was a unit of the Neptune Orient Line, which at that time had 11 vessels; the company operated the ships in a regular service between Hong Kong and Singapore and other Strait ports to the U.K. and European ports.

1974 Sold to Ocean Tramping Co. Ltd., Somalia, renamed ANDU. (A new founded company by Chinese interests.)
The same year sold to Navarino Shipping and Trading Co, Greece, renamed VELOCITY.
1975 Sold to Goodwood Shipping Co., Liberia, not renamed.
1977 Sold to Cie de Nav. D’Orbigny, Paris, renamed in CLISSON.
1980 Sold to Rahi Maritime Co. Ltd. at Piraeus, Greece, renamed in IRENES LOGIC.
15 December 1985 arrived at the breakers yard at Castellon, Spain.

The two other vessels in this set till so far not identified, the 30c and 75c.
