VINCENT KIRK ELLA lifeboat

She was donated by Colonel E.A.D. Brooshoft of Kirk Ella in Yorkshire to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI.)
Built in 1888 and named VINCENT WILKINSON, KIRK ELLA. ON 165 she was the first lifeboat at Guernsey with an official number.
Weight 3.6 tons, dim. 34 x 8ft.
Crew 13.
She was a 10 oared pulling and sailing lifeboat.
Based at St Peters Port, Guernsey.
28 August 1888 arrived at Guernsey on board the L.S.W.R. steamer HILDA.
Her first services were carried out when the ISABELLA HELEN entered port in distress.
Till 1912 in service.
Fate unknown.
