BON MARIN DE SERK ferry

Built as a ferry under yard No. 46 by McTay Marine, Bromborough, along the Mersey River for the Island of Sark Shipping Co. Ltd., St Peter Port Guernsey.
24 June 1983 launched under the name BON MARIN DE SERK.
Tonnage 118 grt, dim. 20.0 x 6.2m.
Two Caterpillar diesel engines, speed 17 knots.
Passenger accommodation maximum 131.
August 1983 delivered. Homeport Guernsey.

Used in the service between St Peter Port and the Island of Sark, a passage of around 45 minutes, till today.
2009 as given by www.equasis.org IMO No 8303056
Owner given as Kleinwort, Benson, London, also given as manager of the ship.
