This vessel was laid down as yard number B490/01 and started sailing in 1978.
She is ice strengthened and has a bow and stern ramp. She has been provided with 4 Sulzer diesels of 16,800 bhp, 2 propellers and 2 bow thrusters. Her speed is 20 1/4 knots. She can transport 983 persons: 460 berth and 523 deck passengers.
Her dimensions are: 127.44m x 19.46m x 5.42m (dr) x 11.23m (d), while her tonnage is: 7,414 gt, 3819 net and 1146 dwt.
The POMERANIA was built at Stocznia Szczecinska im A. at Szczecin.

Built as a passenger ro-ro ferry under yard No B490/1 by the Stocznia Szczecinska Im Adolfa Warskiego at Szczecinska, Poland for Polska Zegluga Baltycka, Kolobrzeg (POL Ferries), Poland.
04 October 1976 keel laid down.
31 May 1977 launched under the name POMERANIA, four sisters.
Tonnage 7.414 grt, 3.819 net, 1.146 dwt., dim. 127.44 x 19.5 x 11.2m., draught 5.42m.
Powered by four Zgoda-Sulzer 6ZL 40/48 diesel engines, 16.000 shp., speed 20.3 knots, twin controllable pitch propellers.
Twin bow-thrusters
Passenger accommodation for 984 passengers of which 436 can have a berth.
Can carry 277 cars.
Ice strengthened.
July 1978 delivered to owners.

July 1978 used in the ferry service between Poland, Sweden, Finland and Germany.
November 1978 used in the service from Swinoujscie, Poland to Copenhagen and Felixstown, G.B.
1979 Used in the service between Helsingfors, Nynashamn and Gdynia.
06 June 1980 till July 1980 chartered by the Kalmar Line, Sweden and used in the service between Kalmar and Rönne on the island of Bornholm.
After the company got bankrupt in July 1980 again in the service of Polferries.
June 1982 till August 1982 chartered by Cotunav, Tunis and used in the service between Genoa, Marseille to Tunis.
August 1982 again in the Polferries service.
01 May 1995 used in the service between Swinoujscie and Malmö.
14 October 1995 got on fire on a voyage to Malmö.
October 1996 arrived at the yard of Remontowa Gdansk Shiprepair Yard, Gdansk for a refit.
May 1997 again in service, tonnage increased to 12.087 grt, 4.453 net, 1.856 dwt.
Bunks increased to 476.
Can carry 237 cars and 468 lane meter.
May 1997 used in the service between Malmö to Swinoujscie, later from Copenhagen to Swinoujscie.
2000 During summertime she makes on Saturdays one trip from Swinoujscie to Rønne.
2001 Register changed to Bahamas, with homeport Nassau.
November 2002 till 2003 made certain voyages between Swinoujscie to Ystad and Copenhagen.
31 January 2005 on a voyage from Swinoujscie to Copenhagen, with on board 140 passengers and a crew of 79 she collided with the Swedish tanker RIO GRANDE off Falsterbo, both ships were slightly damaged, the POMERANIA got a small hole far above the waterline, the tanker a crack in her hull.
After the collision was she escorted to Copenhagen.

2009 http://www.equasis.org gives: In service owned and managed by Polish Baltic Shipping, Kolobrzeg, Poland and Bahamas flag, IMO No 7516761.

31 October 2010 in the service between Swinoujscie and Copenhagen but mostly laid up in Swinoujscie.
17 January 2011 sold to Blue Line International Inc., Rødovre, Denmark and under Panama Flag, renamed February 2011 in DALMATIA.
13 February 2011 sailed from Swinouiscie to Montenegro for a refit.
April 2011 in service between Split, Croatia and Ancona, Italy.
24 October 2014 arrived under Cyprus flag at Alang, India for scrapping.
