Danish Ironclad Tordenskjold, launched 1880, serving 1882-1908.

With its 35-cm gun, The TORDENSKJOLD remained the most heavily armed armored warship in Scandinavia for many years.
Also, this was the first Danish warship constructed primarily of steel. Built by:Naval Dock Yard, Copenhagen

Laid down: June 5, 1879. Launched: September 30, 1880. Commissioned: September 29, 1882

Decommissioned: May 14, 1908

Displacement:2,534 tons

Dimensions: Length:67.79 m Beam:13.23 m Draught: 4.81 m

Complement: 220 officers and men

Propulsion: Burmeister & Wains Skibs- og Maskinbyggeri - 2,600 Hps
