SPEY

Built as a cargo vessel under yard No 35 by S. McKnight & Co. at Ayer for the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co., London.
26 May 1992 launched as the SPEY.
Tonnage 470 gross, 224 net, dim. 50.9 x 7.92 x 3.56m.
One triple expansion steam engine, manufactured by Muir & Houston, Glasgow, 75 hp., speed 10 knots.
November 1892 delivered to owners.

She was stationed in Jamaica, and used for the Inter-Island service of the Royal Mail.
1913 Sold to J. Constant, London.
1918 Sold to V. Kibrit, London, homeport Alexandria, Egypt.

25 January 1920 on a voyage from Alexandria to Beirut loaded with general cargo was she wrecked 13 miles south east of Jaffa.
