Built as a refrigerated cargo carrier under yard No 1219 by Miho Shipyard Co. Ltd., Shimizu, Japan for the Ministry of Natural Resource Development, Republic of Kiribati.
25 July 1985 launched under the name MOA MOA, later altered to MOAMOA
Tonnage, 608 gross, 401 net, 640dwt., dim. 58.30 x 9.00 x 4.00m, draught 3.94m.
Powered by Akasaka diesel engine 600hp., speed 10 knots.
Bunker capacity 301 tons, freshwater 51 tons.
September 1985 completed.
Registered at Betio, Tarawa, Kiribati.

1998 Sold to Mautari Ltd., not renamed.
2008 Sold to unknown byer, not renamed.
24 October 2012 as given by http://www.equasis.org in service

February 2018 she returns to service after a four-month repair by Industrial and Marine Engineering Limited (IMEL) at Walu Bay in Suva, Fiji.
She was then managed by Central Pacific Producers Limited (CPL) in Kiribati.
Will be again used after repair in the interisland supply service in Kiribati.
