The GUARICO a sistership of the ZULIA was built under yard No. 1075 as a cargo reefer vessel by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd., Kobe, Japan for Cia. Anon. Venezolana de Nav. (C.A.V.N.) at Caracas.
02 November 1976 launched as GUARICO
Tonnage 12,824 gross, 6,658 net, 23,916 dwt., dim. 160.03 x 22.92 x 10.01m., draught 09.15m
One 6 cyl. Sulzer diesel, 12,000 bhp., speed 16 knots. One bow thruster.
1977 delivered to owners.
Homeport La Gaira.

1995 Sold to Sea Enchanting Ltd., Malta, renamed MAYQUEEN.
She was sold by unspecified owners to Peruvian breakers as reported Nov. 2003.
She had been laid up at La Libertad, Ecuador, since previous to 16 April 2001.
Sold by unspecified interests to Bangladesh breakers and beached Chittagong 17 Sept. 2004 .
